The strength of Allyn’s coaching lies in his 25 years of corporate talent acquisition, including over 12 years with Fidelity Investments, where he was responsible for selecting, interviewing, qualifying, and hiring executives, professionals, and high-potential employees.

He inspires his clients to recognize their strengths and accomplishments, build powerful networking strategies, refine the story of their unique value, and achieve their goals.
With Allyn, executives improve their abilities to listen and delegate, successfully execute strategies and gain awareness and confidence in their leadership style. Young leaders and high-potential employees will learn how to communicate effectively, manage-up, motivate others, and bring engagement to their teams.
He is now a managing partner of Brookside Consulting Partners. Also, Allyn has provided interview coaching and resume development advice to MBA students at the Harvard Business School. At Babson College, he coached undergraduate students in the Leadership and Teamwork Program. At the Olin School of Management, Allyn coaches MBA students on their career management plans and goals. His pro bono work has included coaching with the Institute for Career Transition at MIT's Sloan School of Management, where he advised unemployed professionals over the age of 50 to execute successful job searches.
Allyn holds a master's degree in public administration from the American University in Washington, DC, and a bachelor of sciences degree from the University of Massachusetts. He is certified by the International Coaching Federation and the National Association of Resume Writer as an expert in developing online profiles. He is certified to administer the DiSC assessment tool and the Career Leader assessment tool.
